Things are moving fast at PALOMAT® on the island of Mors. The North Jutland-based manufacturer of pallet magazines has just sold more than 1,000 machines in a single year – a milestone that is both a source of pride and proof that the industry has an appetite for automation, even when it comes to simple solutions.
A milestone with speed across the field
In 1998, Majbritt Svane set herself a goal: to sell 1,000 PALOMATs in one year. Twenty-seven years later, she has achieved this goal, and it is no coincidence. Over the years, PALOMAT® has evolved with the market, expanded its product portfolio, and created a sales set-up that massively works the market through dealers.

Innovation and transition drive growth
PALOMAT's success is due to its ability to respond to market needs. Automated pallet handling, for example, plays a key role in increasing throughput for companies. Product development has always been driven by the desire to use automation to improve working environments with better ergonomics and significantly reduce the risk of occupational injuries, while at the same time enabling companies to achieve higher efficiency, better earnings and competitiveness. This has been the guiding principle from the very beginning in 1992 to the first electric Greenline model in 2012 and the latest integrated solutions such as PALOMAT® AGV, AMR and Inline.

PALOMAT's broad product portfolio makes it possible to navigate both geographical and industry crises. If one industry slows down, there are always new opportunities elsewhere – the approach has always been to proactively look for new lakes to fish in. This is one of the reasons why PALOMAT® has been successful where others have had to give up. There is still great potential for PALOMAT®, as Danish manufacturing companies can significantly increase productivity through automation - only 30% of processes are automated today.

Behind this success lies a strong organisation where trust, shared responsibility, a proactive approach and passion for the product are core values. Majbritt Svane explains: "You have to want to pull on the red shirt - in the team, we call it PALOMAT® passion."
These values have also been passed on to PALOMAT's global dealer network. The dealers have always been PALOMAT's eyes and ears in the market, contributing insights and feedback from customers who benefit from the product every day. It is a philosophy that has borne fruit. Today, the number of machines sold per year is 1,000, and the next goal is 2,000 machines per year by 2030.
